LawLab
About LawLab
LawLab is an Israeli platform that helps people understand legal documents before they sign them. It is built Hebrew-first for Israeli law, and is meant both for people with no legal background and for professionals.
What LawLab does
You upload a contract or legal document, and the platform flags clauses that deserve attention, explains them in plain language, points to the relevant legal basis and suggests alternative wording. Every finding is tied to a quote from the document itself, so you can check it against the source.
Who it is for
Anyone about to sign something who wants to understand it: tenants, freelancers, small business owners and employees. And also lawyers, interns and students who want to shorten routine work or practise.
How it works
Documents are analysed by large language models prompted specifically for Israeli law and Hebrew. Findings are stored alongside a quote from the original text, so every claim can be verified against the document.
Privacy
Documents uploaded to an account are stored for that user only. The anonymous check, used without an account, does not store the document at all. Full detail is on the legal page and in the cookie policy.
What is in the platform
- Contract review — document analysis, a risk score and flagged clauses, with a PDF report export.
- Contract comparison — what changed between two versions, and what those changes mean.
- Contract builder — a wizard that assembles a draft from clauses, with an AI drafting assistant.
- Clause library — curated Hebrew clauses to search, compare and copy.
- Virtual courtroom — rehearse a hearing against an AI opposing counsel and judge, with structured feedback.
- Claims assistant — estimates heads of damage and maps out how to pursue a claim.
What LawLab is not
LawLab is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Using it does not create an attorney-client relationship. Its output is produced by AI, may contain errors, and is not a substitute for review by a qualified lawyer. Consult a professional before making a binding legal decision.
