Accessibility Statement.
At LawLab we treat accessibility as a core value. We work to make sure everyone, including people with disabilities, can browse and use the service independently, comfortably, and on an equal footing. We have invested significant effort in making the site accessible and we keep improving it on an ongoing basis.
Conformance level
The site has been made accessible in line with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013, and with Israeli Standard IS 5568 at Level AA, which is based on the W3C WCAG 2.0 guidelines. The service is under continuous development, and we work toward full conformance with this level while addressing issues as they are found.
What we have made accessible
- Full keyboard navigation across the whole site, with a clear focus indicator on the active element.
- A "Skip to main content" link at the start of every page, to move past the menu quickly.
- A hierarchical, semantic heading structure that helps screen-reader users navigate the content.
- Alternative text for meaningful images and icons, with decorative elements marked so screen readers skip them.
- Full support for right-to-left (Hebrew) and left-to-right (English) reading direction.
- Sufficient color contrast between text and background, plus both a light and a dark display mode.
- The ability to enlarge text and the display through the browser without losing content or function.
- Respect for the user's reduced-motion preference (prefers-reduced-motion).
- Clear labels for form fields and buttons, including icon-only buttons.
Technologies the site relies on
Accessibility of the site relies on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ARIA standards. Accessibility was tested in current versions of the leading browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge) together with assistive technologies such as screen readers.
Known limitations
The service is under continuous development, and some parts, including AI-generated content or third-party components, may not yet be fully accessible. We are working to fix this as soon as possible. If you come across content that is not accessible, please let us know and we will address it.
